The Lumberjack Challenge

Multiple 1,600's and a 297 game. Lot's to talk about since the last web update so let's get to it.

No sooner that Adam J. Barta, Girard, OH, had tied for the Petersen Classic lead with longtime tournament leader Edward F. Peterson, Minneapolis, MN, with 1,618, Donald E. Scudder, Cincinnati, OH, comes along and takes the lead  with 1,622. Mike Shady, Fairview, PA, also gets a call for a fine 1,612 tally which is currently good for 4th place.
Now I'm just going from memory here, If I recall correctly, the last 300 game at the Petersen was shot at the old 35th and Archer site by Raymond Williams of Detroit, MI in 1976. Robert J. Bures, Jr., Mentor, OH, just missed something that had not been done in 38 years. Robert's last 3 shots are on Facebook. He did not miss on his last shot by much and settled for 297. The complete update of current standings can be seen clicking on the upper left. Also, a link for High Games for each pair is on the bottom right of this page.
