Try to knock down the "Heavy Timber" of the AMF Lumberjack Challenge, the only Authorized Companion Tournament to the Legendary Petersen Classic. The Lumberjack Challenge runs during the same dates and at the same site at the "Pete". Carrying a 1st prize of $2,500.00 (based on 500 entries), the Tournament is 4 games of 9-pin no tap and is open to men and women. Entry fee is $45 and you can re-enter for just $35.

Donald E. Scudder, Cincinnati, OH, Has to get through one more week to see if he will be crowned the next Petersen Classic Champion. His 1,622 still graces the top of the Major Prize list. The dead heat for 2nd place still remains in tact between Adam J. Barta, Girard, OH, and Edward F. Peterson, Minneapolis, MN, with 1,618. Adam Barta, if he should hang on to 2nd Place, will have that, a 3rd Place finish and a 6th Place finish on his Petersen resume. Mike Shady, Fairview, PA is in 4th with 1,612. 5th and 6th Place are held down by a couple of past Pete Champs, Liz Johnson, Cheektowaga, NY, and Ted Hannahs, Zanesville, OH, respectively.
